CNA Program
Start your career in health care by applying for the East Alabama Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program sponsored by East Alabama Health! We are pleased to place qualified applicants through CNA training and following training, into a CNA position at one of our long-term care facilities. We are looking for compassionate people who are interested in helping others, to join our team. The CNA positions we have within our long-term care facilities offer a chance to make a difference in the lives and health of our elderly patients who live in these facilities.
- At the end of the EAH-sponsored 6-week training program, participants will be expected to be proficient in their area of study and prepared to take the exam required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant through the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry.
- Selection into this program will include an application and interview process.
- If the application is not completed in full, the applicant may not be considered for the program.
- All program applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent for consideration to the program.
- The participants selected must be willing to work any available shift at either East Alabama Medical Center or EAMC-Lanier. There will also be a work-off agreement to adhere to in order to participate in the training program.
