2025 Baskets for Babies Raffle
April 14, 2025Our second annual “Baskets for Babies” is gearing up, and departments are being asked to consider participating. This exciting event will coincide with our annual T-shirt sale again this year. Last year, East Alabama Health raised over $11,000 for the March of Dimes. We are aiming to meet or exceed that this year.
For departments looking to participate, here are the instructions:
Departments choose a basket theme, purchase items that go with the theme and an appropriate container. It doesn’t need to be a basket, any container that fits your theme will work. For example, a tool theme might want to have a toolbox for their container; a beach theme might want a beach cart or cooler for their container,
Ideas are still being collected for participation in the Basket for Babies fundraiser. Thank you to the following departments/individuals who have committed to contributing a basket this year:
- 4T- "Spring Cleaning" theme
- Medical Records- Camping theme
- Business Office 23- "Tiny Tots Essentials" theme
- CVICU- Cardiac Health theme
- Auburn Flowers- Misc. Gift basket
- NICU- Kitchen theme
- Heather Poticny- "Spa Day"
- L&D- Fun in the Sun
- Auburn University Medical Clinic- Game Night
- Regulatory Affairs Dept.- Coffee/Tea or Literary Enthusiast theme
- Zachary Hobby- (to be determined)
Submit your theme choice/idea to Yvonne Willis (yvonne.willis@eamc.org).
The deadline to turn in your basket/container is May 10. You may bring your basket directly to Administration or to NICU North. Please include a printed list of the items in your basket, along with the “total value.”
Raffle ticket details will be sent at a later date, including where they will be displayed and how to purchase tickets. For now, share the word with your teams, email Yvonne with your theme and have fun collecting!
