East Alabama Health Bracket Challenge

March Madness is almost here and features 68 of the best college basketball teams competing to become the national champion.

For the third year, we are holding an organization-wide March Madness contest called East Alabama Health’s Bracket Challenge. It’s free and every EAH employee is eligible.

Employees in the Bracket Challenge with the highest amount of points at the end of the tournament will win prizes consisting of gift cards and company-wide recognition. And the overall winner will receive a “Bracket Challenge Champion” trophy.

Instructions to enter:

• Download the ESPN Tournament Challenge App on your personal cell phone, HOME computer or other device.
• IMPORTANT info. from MIS:
  
  • Personal email MUST be used for the contest. Under no condition should your EAH email address and/or password be used.
  • Emails from ESPN.com are blocked due to phishing and to prevent users from using their EAH account to set up an ESPN account.
  • Employees MUST use their personal devices to participate.
  • ESPN is blocked on the production network for various reasons (e.g. copyright infringement/DCMA issues from its streaming apps, bandwidth from streaming, and message board interaction). The best way to ensure connectivity is to click the link after turning off wi-fi on your cell phone, or by using wi-fi at your home.
  • Since ESPN is intentionally blocked, employees should not use the “access blocked page” to create an MIS ticket requesting access.
• RULES OF THE CONTEST:
  
  • Employees must title their bracket as the name they are known by at work and department they work in to be considered for prizes. Names and departments may exceed the character limit. In that case, please abbreviate as needed. (example: John Atkinson, PR & MKTG)
  • Employees are limited to one bracket. The group is limited to EAH employees only.

Entering requires the following password: EAH2025!

Employees who enter will be able to begin building their brackets following Selection Sunday (March 16). The play-in games scheduled for March 18 and 19 WILL NOT affect your ability to build a bracket. Brackets MUST be finalized before the first game on Thursday, March 20, 2025 (11:15 a.m. Central Time).

Once you’ve created and finalized your bracket, just sit back and watch the games and see how your bracket performs.

Prizes:

Apart from having bragging rights, the employees with the top three scoring brackets are eligible for the following prizes

1st Place:

• $50 gift card
• “EAH Bracket Challenge Winner” Trophy
• Photo in The Breakroom newsletter
• Four tickets to an Auburn Baseball or Softball of your choice (pending availability).

2nd Place:

• $25 gift card
• Photo in The Breakroom newsletter
• Two tickets to an Auburn Baseball or Softball game of your choice (pending availability).

3rd Place:

• $10 gift card
• Photo in The Breakroom newsletter
• Two tickets to an Auburn Baseball or Softball game of your choice (pending availability).
