Employees Scare Hazards Away at Safety Fair
October 12, 2023Over 300 employees dared to enter the House of Haunted Hazards during the Office of Patient Safety and Patient Safety Ambassadors 2023 Safety Fair. Participants found clues, solved puzzles, listened to riddles and completed challenges to refresh their patient safety knowledge. Seven focus areas were covered during the event: service excellence, patient safety, core values, sepsis recognition, "no pause" plan with telemetry, staff-resident call communication and workplace violence/emergency codes.
Throughout the day, names were drawn and prizes were given to attendees. This year's prize winners were:
