Troop 7725 Brings Smiles to Pediatrics with Entertainment Boxes

To earn their Bronze Awards, the highest award a junior girl scout can earn, the scouts of Troop 7725 had to find a project that benefits their community. They knew just what to do.

After discussing project specifics with Becky Randolph, Peds nursing supervisor, the scouts went full-steam ahead on a project to help children who are hospitalized. Using funds raised during their delicious cookie sales, the girl scouts of Troop 7725 built "entertainment boxes" that give children of all ages something to play with after they are admitted into the pediatric unit.
