EAMC Welcomes Jeffrey R. Weeks, D.O.

Jeffrey R. Weeks, D.O. recently joined the team at EmSouth, and will be working in EAMC’s Emergency Department. Dr. Weeks earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency at Cahaba Family Medicine in Birmingham.

Dr. Weeks previously worked at EAMC for two years as a process management analyst, but decided he could better serve patients through medicine. He chose to return to EAMC and work as a emergency physician because he enjoys the variety that each new day brings.

Dr. Weeks and his wife, Kristi, have two children, Madison and AvaClaire. In his spare time, he enjoys scuba diving and spear fishing.

Dr. Weeks is board eligible in family medicine and is practicing at EmSouth in the Emergency Departments at both EAMC and EAMC-Lanier.
