EAMC Welcomes Nathan L. Mendoza, M.D.

Nathan L. Mendoza, M.D. recently joined the team at Urology Associates of East Alabama. Dr. Mendoza earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed his urology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Dr. Mendoza is originally from Hutchinson, Kan. He chose to pursue a career in urology because he enjoyed the opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients as well as the surgical aspect of urology, specifically robotic surgery. Dr. Mendoza enjoyed his residency at UAB, and is excited to join EAMC to continue caring for patients in Alabama.

Dr. Mendoza has been married to his wife, Marissa, for eight years. They have two boys. In his spare time, Dr. Mendoza enjoys running, woodworking, playing guitar, watching Kansas basketball, and spending time with his kids.

Dr. Mendoza is board eligible in urology, and is practicing at Urology Associates of East Alabama, 121 N. 20th Street, Building 19 in Opelika. To make an appointment, please call 334-749-8146.
