East Alabama Health recently celebrated nine members joining the seventh Nurse Apprenticeship cohort during a signing ceremony held in December. In a separate ceremony, the organization also celebrated six graduates from the third cohort as they completed their time in the program. The apprenticeship program sees students in the second semester of nursing school begin to work as employees of East Alabama Health and be assured of continued employment after graduation. 

Members of the newly-signed class are nursing students from Auburn University College of Nursing, Chattahoochee Valley Community College, and Southern Union State Community College.
