Sam Price, CPA, chief financial officer for East Alabama Health, has been selected for Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 list of “Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know,” marking the second year he has earned the honor.

The national recognition underscores Price’s steady financial guidance and the important role that responsible fiscal leadership plays in supporting East Alabama Health’s commitment to high-quality, compassionate care.

Price has served East Alabama Health since 1997, following the start of his career with Ernst & Young. He graduated from Auburn University in 1981.

Becker’s annual list recognizes finance executives who help protect the financial strength of hospitals and health systems while enabling their organizations to continue focusing on outstanding patient care.
