Mark Burroughs, D.O.
Mark Burroughs, D.O. recently joined the Emergency Medicine South team and practices in the Emergency Department at East Alabama Medical Center. Dr. Burroughs is originally from Tuscaloosa, Ala. He attended medical school at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine Virginia Campus and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Burroughs completed rotations at East Alabama Medical Center during his time in medical school and looks forward to returning to the area. He chose to practice emergency medicine specifically because he enjoys meeting people in all walks of life and treating a variety of medical problems. In his spare time, Dr. Burroughs enjoys playing golf, camping, cooking, and watching Alabama football.
