Sam Price, CPA, the Chief Financial Officer at East Alabama Health, has been named to the 2025 list of "Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know” By Becker’s Hospital Review. 

This honor highlights Price’s dedication to sound financial leadership, which plays a critical role in advancing East Alabama Health’s mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate health care.

Price joined East Alabama Health in 1997 after beginning his career at Ernst & Young. He is a 1981 alumnus of Auburn University. 

The Becker’s list honors financial leaders who have been recognized for safeguarding the financial wellbeing of their hospitals and health systems, and for making it possible for their organizations to prioritize exceptional patient care.

 East Alabama Health encompasses East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, EAMC-Lanier Rural Emergency Hospital in Valley, the Spencer Cancer Center in Opelika, the Auburn Medical Pavilion and a host of other key medical clinics and practices that help provide a continuum of care to patients throughout an 11-county area.
