About Me
David Manring, M.D. is a hospitalist with Internal Medicine Associates. Originally from Columbus, Indiana, Dr. Manring received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Manring then went on to complete fellowships in Tropical Medicine / Global Health and Advanced Clinical Ultrasound at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Manring decided to pursue a career in medicine after he was inspired by his grandfather's stories of practicing at a mission hospital in rural Colorado and Liberia. Dr. Manring has a strong desire to serve people in fast-paced situations and enjoys the challenge of reasoning through complex differential diagnoses and investigation multifaceted disease processes.
Dr. Manring and his wife have 4 children. In his free time, Dr. Manring enjoys camping with his family, skiing, and watching college basketball.
