Katherine Winchester, PA

Katherine Winchester, PA, is a physician assistant who is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and helping them take an active role in their health. She earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Winchester was drawn to the PA profession for its hands-on, collaborative approach to patient care. Working closely with physicians and other members of the care team, she values the adaptability PAs bring to primary care and the ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a wide range of health needs.

She has a particular interest in the management of high blood pressure and diabetes, with a focus on helping patients make sustainable lifestyle changes alongside medical treatment. Katherine is passionate about preventative care and encourages patients to prioritize routine health monitoring, such as checking blood pressure and blood sugar between visits, to help prevent long-term complications.

Winchester's journey into medicine was inspired by a physician assistant she worked with while serving as a medical assistant, whose kindness and dedication left a lasting impression. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and traveling. She is motivated each day by seeing her patients gain confidence and progress in managing their health over time.
