About Me
Vasant Temull, M.D. is a hospitalist practicing with Internal Medicine Associates. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Temull attended the University of the West Indies for his postgraduate studies. He received his medical degree from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine in Trinidad and Tobago, and completed his residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was chief resident (2019-2020) and won the Leadership and Service Excellence Award in 2020.
Dr. Temull was inspired to pursue internal medicine through his university training, and he chose East Alabama Health for its strong tradition of diverse, high-quality clinical experiences. What drew him most was the opportunity to be part of a team committed to making a lasting impact on the community through compassionate, collaborative care.
In his free time, Dr. Temull enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys playing soccer and fishing.
