East Alabama Medical Center installed the da Vinci S in 2010, and has had great success with gynecological, urological and some general surgeries. Then in 2014, the hospital welcomed the da Vinci Xi. Because EAMC is committed to providing the least invasive care for our patients, we were the first hospital in Alabama, and one of the first in U.S. to offer this type of da Vinci technology.
