Purpose

To inspire high school students to explore healthcare careers through hands-on hospital experiences and age-appropriate career exposure.

  • Expose students to real hospital careers and hands-on learning.
  • Provide clear, grade-specific insight into healthcare pathways.
  • Build a sustainable healthcare workforce pipeline.
  • Strengthen community engagement.

Target Audience

  • High school students only (Grades 9–12) during the camp day
  • Parents/guardians attend only the closing ceremony

Expected Outcomes

  • Students gain excitement and understanding of healthcare careers.
  • Older students leave with actionable next steps.
  • Parents leave informed and engaged at the conclusion of the day.

Program groups are divided by grade level. Each group will get a tour of EAH, have hands-on skill stations, hear from different departments in the hospital setting, and have exciting challenges and competitions. End of day each student will receive a certificate and information sessions for their parents regarding career ladders, Earn and Learn opportunities, Dual Enrollments information, and more.
