OPELIKA, Ala.­—East Alabama Health is hosting a Veterans Day ceremony Friday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. in the Education Center, located at 2027 Pepperell Parkway in Opelika.

The ceremony will honor veterans within the community and the organization, and will be followed immediately by a reception. Veterans and their family members are encouraged to attend the ceremony.

The ceremony will include the following events:

  • Recognition of local veterans from all branches of the military
  • Singing of the national anthem and the playing of the official branch marching songs
  • Prayers and reading of scriptures
  • A Veterans Day video tribute featuring remarks from current and former U.S. presidents
