About Me
Geoffrey Vester, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist practicing with East Alabama Psychiatric Services. A LaFayette, Ala. native, Dr. Vester earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., and completed his psychiatry residency at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La.
Dr. Vester’s interest in mental health began in high school and deepened throughout medical school, where he discovered his calling in psychiatry. After completing his medical training in various places across the Southeast, Dr. Vester is grateful to be treating patients in the community where he grew up.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Vester enjoys spending his free time on the golf course.
