Program Curriculum

Our curriculum has a foundation in internal medicine, with ample opportunities to explore specialties during elective rotations. Our program uses a block schedule with 13 blocks throughout the year. Of these, four are inpatient internal medicine rotations, with other required blocks including emergency medicine, general surgery or OB/GYN, ambulatory clinic, ICU, and a procedural rotation. The remaining blocks are electives, with a variety of options such as anesthesiology, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology, radiation oncology, research, and more. You are encouraged to use these rotations to tailor your residency to meet your needs and align with your passions.

Call Frequency

Residents should expect to work some nights and weekends when rotating on their general IM and emergency medicine rotations.
