Dedicated outpatient care for stroke & TIA

The Neurology Center of East Alabama offers a subspecialty clinic dedicated to evaluating and treating patients who have experienced a stroke or TIA.

The Stroke & TIA Clinic goes beyond general neurology by connecting patients with a specialist who focuses specifically on stroke prevention, stroke recovery and follow-up care after a TIA.

Because stroke care often involves identifying the cause of the event, managing stroke risk factors and helping reduce the chance of another stroke, patients benefit from seeing someone with deep experience in this area.

The clinic’s stroke specialist can review hospital findings, imaging, medications and ongoing symptoms through the lens of stroke-specific care, then help guide next steps based on each patient’s needs.
