Getting Started with Primary Care
Establishing a primary care physician (PCP) is an excellent way to get headed in the right direction when it comes to managing your health effectively. We invite you to browse our list of primary care physicians to find the provider and office location that will best fit your needs and schedule an initial appointment to discuss your medical history, current health concerns, and any ongoing treatments. Your primary care physician can also connect you with any other specialists you may need to see to ensure continuity of care and support your long-term well-being.

Emergency Care
East Alabama Health has three strategically placed emergency department locations to ensure that patients in our area have a convenient facility to visit when experiencing a medical emergency. Each location is equipped with advanced medical technology and staffed by experienced emergency physicians, nurses, and specialists ready to handle a wide range of critical situations.
Freestanding Emergency Department - Auburn, AL
The East Alabama Medical Center Freestanding Emergency Department (FED) is located on the first floor of the Auburn Medical Pavilion in Auburn, Ala. Ambulance transport is available from the FED to East Alabama Medical Center if inpatient hospitalization is required.

The Emergency Department at East Alabama Medical Center is located just past the Main Lobby entrance in Canopy 2. This emergency department location sees approximately 50,000 patients a year or roughly 135 patients a day.
