Clinical Placements, Preceptorships, Internships & Practicums

Guidelines & Requirements for Students and Schools

East Alabama Health partners with colleges and educational programs to provide high-quality learning experiences through clinical placements, preceptorships, internships, and practicums. These opportunities allow students to bridge classroom learning with real-world practice while under the supervision of qualified instructors and hospital staff.

Please review the information below before submitting a request.

• All clinical and internship experiences must be pre-arranged and approved by East Alabama Health.
• Due to the high volume of requests, placement is not guaranteed. If a request cannot be accommodated, a representative will notify the school or student so alternative arrangements can be made.
