On-site LPN Program

East Alabama Health is proud to offer a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program designed to meet the growing need for skilled nurses in our region. This innovative, full-accredited program provides employees with the opportunity to advance their careers while continuing to work within our organization.

About the Program

Our LPN program is conducted in partnership with Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) and is hosted at East Alabama Health’s state-of-the-art Education Center in Auburn. The facility includes:

  • Lecture rooms for classroom learning
  • Simulation and fundamentals labs for hands-on practice
  • A pharmacology lab for specialized training
  • Dedicated office and meeting spaces

The program is currently open to East Alabama Health employees with at least one year of service. Students remain employed and receive pay while enrolled, ensuring financial stability throughout their education. Upon graduation and licensure, participants transition into full-time LPN roles at East Alabama Health.

What’s Involved

  • Duration: The program curriculum takes approximately one year to complete.
  • Curriculum: Comprehensive coursework led by CVCC instructors, including clinical training and preparation for the NCLEX-PN exam.
  • Location: East Alabama Health Education Center, 1805 Lakeside Circle, Auburn, AL.
